Girls Cricket

The Intermediate girls cricket team, successfully defeated two teams in the Gippsland round to progress through to the SSV State Quarter Final, where they took on McKinnon SC. Captain Lara Dowsett won the toss and elected to bowl first. Wickets went to Siennah Harrigan 1/15 off 2, Charlotte Nikolajew 1/16 off 2. Top scorer with the bat was Maddie Winter, assisted by Olivia Palmer, Mahlee Coverley and Lara Dowsett. Maffra SC showed great team work with positive encouragement and support. McKinnon SC took the honours on the day.
