This week we revisited our values and reminded students about how we behave and why to make SJV a great place to be!

Students establish a foundation of positive and proactive strategies across the school, reducing the need for reactive interventions.  The school practices and develops a:

• common language and consistent expectations across the school.
• Allows all students to succeed by explicitly teaching specific behaviours and social skills.
• Provides regular specific positive feedback to students to reinforce desired behaviours.
• Ensures all educators address minor and major negative behaviour in a consistent and predictable way.
• Supports teachers to arrange teaching and learning environments that optimise engagement and success for all students.
