What do you love most about working at SJC?

Community. The students. The beautiful school buildings at Brigidine Campus are fantastic and so historical. The new Kildare Campus is fabulous too.

What has been your most memorable moment in your time at SJC?

Every morning when the students welcome me as I enter the school.

What is 1 thing that people would be surprised to learn about you?

Once upon a time I used to be young, fit and fun!

Student Services, VASS & Exams Administrator.

Qualifications/Work/Study History:

Previously worked in administration at the University of Melbourne for nearly 17 years. During this period, I also worked for one year at the Royal Children's Hospital as a PA to the Head of the Intensive Care Unit. Although I greatly admired my boss, I found myself missing the interaction with students too much. As a result, I transferred back to campus and took on the role of Academic Programs Coordinator in the Department of Medicine. I worked in this position for several years and loved this role; however it was time to begin a new chapter of life in sunny Echuca.

What do you love most about working at SJC?

I enjoy working with the students and building positive relationships with them. I love the camaraderie between all the staff. The SJC group bring a lovely community feel.

What has been your most memorable moment in your time at SJC?

Witnessing the joy on the faces of the Year 12 cohort as they mark their last day of high school is always a special day. Also seeing their elation after finishing their final exams.

What is 1 thing that people would be surprised to learn about you?

I love musical theatre. Over the years, I've had the incredible opportunity to enjoy musicals in London's West End, New York's Broadway, and even Las Vegas. My highlight, I once received a playful scolding from Hugh Jackman during a theatre performance.
