Greece/Italy Student Study Tour
On Wednesday night, 24 of our Year 10 and 11 students, along with myself, Mr Beck, Ms Miesen, and Mrs Billing, embarked on an incredible two-week study tour of Greece and Italy. This journey is set to be an enriching experience that extends our learning well beyond the classroom.
During our time here, we will explore the history, art, religion, and languages that have played a vital role in shaping these fascinating countries. Our students will have the unique opportunity to see world-renowned landmarks and masterpieces up close, immersing themselves in the rich local culture.
We encourage our school community to follow our adventures through regular updates on the school's social media channels. We’re looking forward to bringing these experiences and the insights we've gained back to share with everyone.
Term 3 Summary Reports
Term 3 Summary Reports will be available for parents to read on COMPASS on Thursday 19 September.
To find reports go to COMPASS and click on your child’s name and then click on View Academic Reports. Please read and discuss the contents of your child's report with them.
If you are having difficulty accessing your child’s report please contact student services.
Please note that for Year 12 students the next report will not be released until they have completed their classwork next term. It will be a full semester report, including all SACs, outcome completion and Unit 4 results.
Students are to be congratulated on their application and efforts during Term 3.
Please contact your child's teacher to discuss any concerns you may have.
Year 12 Practice Exams
The Year 12 Practice Exams will be held onsite in the Oak Centre, in the first week of the school holidays from Monday 23 to Thursday 26 September.
Students have been provided a practice exam timetable via COMPASS.
This is an invaluable learning opportunity for our students to engage with and we look forward to supporting them in this experience. The aim of these exams is to:
- Provide all students with the opportunity to experience exam conditions for each of their subjects.
- Provide opportunity for feedback pertaining to exam technique and essential exam skills
- Allow students to gauge current learning progress and identify areas of strength or areas that require consolidation as they enter the revision period of their VCE.
Students are reminded that they must access the Oak Centre via the gate on Dickson Street, near the Oak tree. They will not be able to access their lockers or other areas of the school during this week.
