Preps First Day!

Last week our preps embarked on the first day of their school journey. Introducing Prep R, Prep H, and Prep RS...

Our preppies are still getting used to the routines of Primary School, so please spread the Chilwell kindness if you see them struggling in the yard. Think back to your first days at Primary School, it can be very scary seeing all the big kids and being the youngest people in school!

Already hard at work, here are some lovely happenings and creations from their first week, we even had some brave preps speak at Assembly!

School Committees...

At the start of each year our Grade 6 students are encouraged to join one of Chilwell's committees. This is a great opportunity for our older years students to gain a sense of responsibility in their school/community, and set them up for leadership opportunities that may come in High School. For their first assembly of 2024, our school captains handed out the badges to the Grade 6 students whom officially joined the Chilwell committees! 

Big congratulations to our house captains below who also were handed their badges. Keep an eye out for the school website where these students will share their aspirations in their role as house leaders for the year ahead.
