Welcome back to 2024

Welcome back to another opportunity filled year! The St Pius X students would first like to welcome back all members of the school community, teachers, staff, and students. A big welcome to all new students starting their first year here! Please feel free to come have a chat to one of the white shirts if you ever need any help or need someone to talk to. As the school year begins, the St Pius boys wish everyone luck in their academic and sporting endeavours for this year, so get amongst it and don’t be afraid to get involved within the school!

Macquarie University Leadership Forum

On Tuesday 23 January, Samuel Cummins and Quinton Crispe had the opportunity to attend the annual Macquarie University Leader’s Forum. The event is designed to recognise leaders within their school community and enable networking opportunities with other Year 12 students within New South Wales. The forum comprised of three guest speakers, a campus tour and several networking opportunities. 

EREA Young Leaders’ Gathering

During January, Quinton Crispe (Year 12) had the opportunity to attend the EREA Young Leaders Conference in Ballarat, Victoria. Over 60 young leaders were representing 40,000+ students from the 55 EREA and affiliated / flexi schools. The four day conference focused on the theme ‘Voice and Agency’ and leaders were encouraged to reflect on their experiences of leadership within their community. The gathering enabled networking opportunities with other leaders within the EREA community within Australia. 

A special message from the House Captains

Welcome back to 2024! It is Term 1 and that means the swimming carnival is just around the corner. It is now time to get the swimmers on and get prepared for the Junior School carnival on 14 February or for the Senior School carnival on 15 February. Looking forward to seeing you all in the pool.
