Community News

Welcome Back!

Please make sure you drop by the Hub on Friday morning after drop off. The fantastic coffee van will be in attendance and the PFA has organised morning tea. We would love to see you there and say hi.

We have many wonderful activities planned for 2024.  We are looking forward to meeting all our new families and seeing old friends again.  Please make sure you have joined your class's WhatsApp group so that you don't miss out on anything!  As always, the PFA warmly welcomes any interested parents to join the committee.  The commitment is designed to be as family friendly as possible, with one (or two at most) meetings per term and we can arrange zoom participation if needed.  We need you and your ideas to continue to build the wonderful community that is St Michael's!  If you are interested - even just pondering - please contact Therese Molnar on 0417.014.772 or via therese.molnar@gmail.com.

Ashburton Festival Cake Stall

We are looking forward to a great day on Sunday 25th February. Next week, we are asking all families to donate a bag (or two) of lollies for us to make lolly bags for the stall. Baskets will be at the front gate (near the office) and Morotai St gates at drop off and pick up from Monday.  Thanks in advance for your support.

Baking kits will be sent home shortly, including some delicious, simple recipes. Each family is asked to contribute at least one baked good for the stall. Full details will be in next week's newsletter. Thanks to Jane Potter (Mum of Anna R and Claire R) who has already whipped up some amazing jams for our stall during the holidays.

Most importantly, we need help on the day. This is always a fun and exciting day, and many great friendships have been forged over running the snow cone machine! If you can offer two hours (or more), please contact Therese Molnar on 0417.014.772 or therese.molnar@gmail.com
