Learning together as one community
Each term a parent overview will be shared with each family with a snapshot of what curriculum and skills each year level will be covering each term.
Curriculum overviews are like roadmaps that show you what your child/children will be learning in school. They can help you understand what our teachers are teaching and what your children will need to know. With this information, you can help support their learning at home by giving you the chance to talk to your child/children about what they're learning and get them excited about school!
Our Term One Overviews have been sent via Dojo, but in case you missed them, they are linked below:
On Tuesday 13th February Tina Apostolopoulos, the principal of Our Lady of Sion College, came to visit our Year 3, 4 and 5 girls, as well as our Year 6 students attending the college in 2025, with some of our ex Holy Spirit students.
It was wonderful to see Jess, Sadie & Amy and to hear them speak about their experience with transition to secondary school, starting Year 7 and new opportunities that they have had, with such enthusiasm. It was wonderful to see them and watch them shine. Holy Spirit cannot wait to hear about the amazing things you do!
Assembly will be held each Friday at 2:30pm in the school hall. All dates for Assembly this term are on the Holy Spirit School Calendar.
Our students will visit the library each week and borrow. Students need to bring their library bag to school on their library day to borrow. The timetable for this year is below:
Library borrowing has begun for the year.
The library will also be open each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 8:35 - 8:50am.
