Technical Support (IT)
Pushp Bali is our ICT Technician and works full time. He oversees all communication and technology at the school. Andy is the regional technician who works two days a week with Pushp. Please log any technology issues on the Portal by Logging an IT Help Desk Call. There are eHelp tech support videos on the portal.
The Portal (Sharepoint)
The school portal is used to house information critical to our school operations. It is accessible through Microsoft Teams or https://eduvic.sharepoint.com/sites/JacksonSchool/Portal.
Please use your @education username and password for authentication.
The Portal houses the Jackson Termly (school event planner), Xuno (attendance, calendar and school management system), Accelerus (assessment & reporting), Staff Absence Form, Timetables etc. Please familiarise yourself with its layout and contents. Please check Daily Org section on the Portal Homepage for daily absences, replacements, and yard duty changes.
IT Service Calls
If you are having IT problems, you will need to log an online service request via the IT Service Call button on The Portal.
eduMail
The Department's messaging service, eduMail, is a central repository for all your emails, calendar and business contacts. All staff are provided with an eduMail account for the duration of their employment. The eduMail service is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy for the Department's Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) Resources.
If you need to access your inbox and calendar from home or another location, you are able to do so by logging into your eduMail email account at: https://www.outlook.com/education.vic.gov.au
- Under Username, enter the @education email address you use to log onto your work computer
- Under Password, enter the password you use to log onto your work computer.
eduPay
eduPay is the Department's web-based HR and payroll system that enables employees to:
- view online accurate and up to date leave balances (including Long Service Leave)
- access their online payslips
- apply online for leave
- view and update contact details
- update banking details
- access development courses via LearnEd
