If you notice any safety concerns or repairs that are required in the yard or inside any building, please log it promptly on the school portal under the Buildings and Grounds Help Desk. All logged repairs or safety concerns will be actioned promptly. Contact Graeme Congues for further information 214 or 0423 396 665.
Mandatory Reporting
If any member of staff suspects any child is being maltreated or abused, they should discuss the matter with the Principal, Assistant Principal or Social Worker. For more information, please refer to:

It should be noted that:
- Mandatory reporting of child abuse is compulsory for all staff
- The notification is not a breach of professional etiquette or ethics
- Those who notify are not required to prove the case, they need only notify of suspicions on reasonable grounds
- The name of the person making the notification is not disclosed
- Ultimately it is the staff member’s responsibility to ensure a report has been made.
- Advise the Principal of any report
- Staff can collect observation notes, disclosed information and behavioural indicators
- Staff are advised not to confront parents/carers with their concerns
Mobile Phones
Staff personal mobile phones must not be used in learning spaces during school times. Please ensure that they are turned off and retrieve voicemail messages during break times. SMS text messages are not appropriate during teaching time or active supervision. Mobile phones are to be switched off or set to silent during all meetings. For external incoming calls the office staff will forward the call to your voicemail and you will receive an email notification. Emergency messages will be personally delivered and arrangements made if a staff member needs to leave urgently. Please ensure family members have the school number 03 9366 4322 to contact in the event of an emergency during school time.
Students must not have a phone in their possession. All student mobile phones must be placed in the classroom safe at the start of the day and not collected until the end of the day. Students must not keep a mobile phone in their school bag or locker. Please encourage students to give family members the school number 9366 4322 to contact in the event of an emergency during school time.
