Season of Creation
Creation Changemakers is a new campaign led by Caritas Australia’s Catholic Earthcare program. It is designed to support schools like St Thomas the Apostle, to take meaningful, faith-filled action for ecological and social justice during the Season of Creation.
This year’s global Season of Creation theme is ‘Peace with Creation’, symbolised by the Garden of Peace. As a symbol of peace, we are encouraged to incorporate doves into our garden.
St Thomas is going to get behind Season of Creation 'Peace with Creation' by adding another composting tumbler to our school yeard. Students will be able to continue to compost their food waste and create rich compost for our school gardens.
Students can also submit a piece of art to the Catholic Earthcare committee. Entries close by 10th September 5pm (see flyer). See more details by going to:
