This lesson we made basic pizza dough, and each group had a recipe for a pizza topping. The Dirt Devils made tomato and basil pizza. The Juicy Jackfruits made potato and rosemary pizza. The Perfect Pineapples made Roast Pumpkin and Caramelised Onion Pizza and the Rotten Radishes made Leek Silverbeet Pizza.

Each group prepped the pizza dough and cut the ingredients for the toppings. It was then placed in the oven while we were all out for the lunch break. Everyone enjoyed the pizzas so much that there were no leftovers! The pizzas that received the most votes were the potato and rosemary and tomato and basil pizzas. We hope you enjoy making them at home!

We also learnt a new word- Roquette. This is a type of leafy green vegetable with a slightly peppery taste. We added it to the top of the Potato pizza as it was about to be served.

A huge thank you to Don's Mum, Rachel for giving up her time to help in our kitchen class.
