GS Warriors (Basketball)

The Warriors lined up against Prescott Lightning for game 3 of the season looking to keep the momentum going with another win.  They started the game strong demonstrating our trademark teamwork, enabling the team to score at ease, and keeping the other team scoreless for the majority of the first half, at half time the Warriors were leading 30-2.  The second half was more of the same with the Warriors running the game out comfortable winners 56-3, with all the Warriors players getting on the scoresheet.

Eden 16, Tennyson 10, Flynn 8, Charlie 8, Rhys 8, Shaurya 4 & Shayla 2.

GS Roos (Soccer)

The soccer season is back and the Roos played a cracker of a game this week. Their opponents were tough but the team worked hard together consistently pushing forward and also defending the goals that were coming thick and fast. Chase and Araav stopped plenty of goals as the two goalies for the match, and were busy attacking when out of the goals. Savannah stayed in defence keeping many shots away from goals. Austin scored the first goal for our team and instigated the second goal. Rohin was not afraid to get into the match with confidence, going strong against the play at every opportunity.  The team was missing a few players and we are excited to be all together soon!
