Book Week 2025 is finally here!
Book Week is happening next week. I wonder who the winners will be?
Our Book Week Parade Day is happening on Monday morning the 18th of August at 8.45-9.15am so don’t forget to arrive in your Adventure or Character costumes.
There is also an opportunity to make a voluntary gold coin donation to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. If you would like to contribute, bring a gold coin on Monday Book Parade Day.
Families are warmly invited to view the parade if they are able. Due to construction work of the middle playground, please follow the directions of staff for where to stand along the bunting to safely view the parade. *Edit - Unfortunately we have not been able to confirm the coffee van. We apologise for the inconvenience.
The parade will begin with Stage 1 at 8:45am and is expected to conclude by approximately 9:15am. Curiosity ELC students will join the parade once they arrive, at their discretion.
Parade order:
Stage 1 – 1C, 1H, 1L
Stage 2 – 2K, 2C, 2M, 2S, 2A
Stage 3 – 3A, 3S, 3K, 3C, 3G

Thank You - Learning Enrichment Expo
Our Learning Enrichment Expo was a wonderful success, bringing together families, staff, and a diverse range of exhibitors to explore, educate, and learn the many ways we can support student learning.
Thank you to all who attended, engaged with our exhibitors, and participated in workshops. Your presence and enthusiasm made the event a valuable and vibrant experience for our community. We are grateful to our dedicated Learning Enrichment staff Anne Carter, Kate Burton, Tim English and Allyson Mills for their planning and involvement, and to our families for their ongoing support in making this event possible.
Whether you attended on the day, or were unable to join us, please take a few minutes to share your thoughts by completing our short feedback form - Responses are anonymous.
Your feedback is invaluable and will help us better understand your needs and improve this event for our community.
Father's Day Stall
The Fathers’ Day Stall is fast approaching and will be held in Week 6 this year, on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th August. This is earlier than previous years. It will be a week and a bit before Fathers’ Day due to the special Junior Primary Musical being held in Week 7, just prior to Fathers’ Day.
The planning team are now looking for volunteers for the stall.
If you're keen to help, we are looking for:
- People to volunteer and serve at the stall.
Dates of the stall are:
Wed August 27th 1105am – 3pm (with lunch break)
Thurs August 28th 850am – 2pm (with morning tea and lunch break)
Please consider when you will be able to help and take note of the time slots on the attached volunteer form which will also be sent home in blue bags soon with the eldest child of each family. Please return this form if you’d like to volunteer, thank you.
Please take note that you will need to have completed all the volunteer requirements for school to be part of this special event.
We are now happily collecting any home-made donations to sell too for the Fathers’ Day Stall.
Please have these dropped off to school Wednesday Week 5 and please communicate prior to the event with what you hope to donate, to Rachael Richards - r_haaren@hotmail.com
Thank you for your contribution, we look forward to another successful Father's Day Stall event!
