The QGSSSA Winter Season has reached its halfway point, with our Hockey, Netball, Tennis, and Volleyball teams showing strong determination and continual improvement each round. The ladders have seen plenty of movement, with both our Open and Senior A Tennis teams currently holding the top spot. We wish all our girls the very best for a successful and rewarding round this week against St Hilda’s.
Meanwhile, the boys have been busy competing in Round 11 of the BBI Club Basketball season, while others prepare for another exciting term of Touch Football at Arana Touch. Our Mountain Biking team has also been on the move, recently taking part in the Rocky Trail Academy Series in Caloundra.
Looking ahead, our QGSSSA Athletics team is in preparation mode for the Championships on Thursday 18 September, with Lead-Up Meets scheduled on Friday nights.
It’s a busy time across Clayfield Sport, and we greatly value the commitment, enthusiasm, and engagement of all our students.
Important Reminder (Secondary and Primary)
To ensure the safety and correct record-keeping of all students attending sporting events, it is essential that parents complete the sign-on process via Parent Lounge. This allows us to maintain up-to-date rolls and access important information.
When signing your child on for a sporting program or event, please ensure the following steps are completed:
If there are any changes to your child’s transport arrangements, please notify the appropriate sports coordinator via email as soon as possible.
Following the event, all students must be signed out with the nominated supervising staff member/s before departing the venue.
We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a smooth and safe event experience for all students.
