Combined Junior Music Festival

On Tuesday 12 August, Clayfield College had the pleasure of hosting the 2025 Combined Junior Music Festival for our Years 4 to 6 students, bringing together young musicians from our Upper Primary Music Ensembles, together with musicians from Brisbane Boys’ College and Somerville House. More than a day of performances, this festival is a celebration of collaboration, creativity, and the friendships that flourish through music.

Throughout the day, students from band, choir and strings rehearsed a selection of repertoire contributed by each school, before showcasing their work for each other over two concerts.

Events like this are made possible through the dedication and teamwork of many, and we extend our sincere thanks to our music staff and the unwavering support of our Primary Leadership Team.
