Before School Hours and Supervision
A friendly reminder that, unless students are participating in co-curricular activities, they are not permitted on the College campus before 7:30am, as there are no staff members on duty.
The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is open from 7:30am if students arrive before 8:00am.
Thank you for your attention to this important safety matter.
Primary School Arrangements

If arriving before 8:25am, students are permitted to drop their bags outside classrooms, put their hats on and go to the playground or Lower LRC area. A bell will ring, which signifies the beginning of the school day at 8:25am and students should line up outside their classroom to wait for their teacher.
The Amphitheatre, Palm Grove playground and grassed area in Leopard Terrace are available for play between 8:00am and 8:25am; however, the Tree Tops playground in Leopard Terrace is strictly out of bounds before and after school. The Pre-Prep classroom door opens at 8:30am daily. A parent or carer must wait with their Pre-Prep student until such time.
Message from the Uniform Shop
Did you know there is an Online Store?
Clayfield College uniform items are available for purchase through the Uniform Shop's online store (link below). Payment can be made using credit card or PayPal.
All orders placed through the portal can be collected from the Uniform Shop the next trading day after the order is placed (available by approximately 9:00am).
Uniform Transition | 2026 School Year
Reminder: The three-year transition period for the new co-educational uniform, introduced in 2023, will conclude at the end of this school year. From the beginning of the next school year, all students will be required to wear the uniform items as outlined in the Uniform Policy, available below.

We would like to provide families with a friendly reminder that a full term’s written notice, addressed to the Principal, is required when withdrawing a student from the College to avoid fees being charged in lieu of notice. Where a student is leaving at the end of the school year, notice must be received by the first day of Term 4.
Notice is to be provided via email to principal@clayfield.qld.edu.au and enrol@clayfield.qld.edu.au.
The College App
The College App is an important part of the communication process at Clayfield College. Please make sure your subscription is correct to receive all notifications. If you are having difficulties, our IT staff will happily meet with you. They are located in the Lower LRC.
