Learning in Year 5

The Year 5s are loving all the extra fun that comes along with Term 3. Everyone is getting excited for Production by learning their lines, practising their songs and rocking the best character faces!

English

Happy Book Week! The Year 5s had the best time this week celebrating reading and all things books! We shared favourite stories, learnt about new ones and even dressed up!

Maths

Our brains have been making connections between fractions and decimals this term as we learn how to order, compare, add, subtract and convert between them. We've also enjoyed focusing on our number facts to build up accuracy and efficiency.

Integrated

Our bank savings are growing after three weeks of salaries being deposited! We have learnt that our gross pay isn't what actually goes into our bank (and our employers keep taxing us!)
