On Thursday 20th February our class attended Mass with Fr Chinua. The children showed reverence and respect as they carefully listened to Fr Chinua talking about 'God's Creation' and answered many questions about how to care for it.
A huge thank you to all family members who came along.
As we approach the beginning of Lent next week, our students have been learning about the significance of this season. Together, we read the Bible story of Jesus being tempted in the desert for 40 days and reflected on its meaning. Through our discussions, we explored ways to follow in Jesus' footsteps by showing kindness, love, gratitude, generosity, and deepening our prayer life and faith throughout Lent. This special time offers us a chance to grow in faith and strengthen our connection with God and one another.
Here we are thinking about ways we can be more like Jesus.
Please consider contributing to a very worthy cause during this Lenten season.
See Ms Marion's 'Faith Matters' page for more information.
During Fun Fit over the past two weeks, the children have learnt some breakdancing skills. Ask them to show you some moves at home!
The children enjoy stopping for a quick brain break and fruit snack each morning. Sometimes we sit out in the shade and enjoy the fresh air to help boost our concentration. Please help your child to pack a fresh fruit or vegetable snack in their lunchbox to eat during this time.
We wish Ellie a happy birthday for the 5th March.
Tomorrow evening - SFX Welcome Picnic
Next week - Student Progress Meetings - Monday & Wednesday.
