Dear St Francis Xavier Families,

Fr Chinua was very happy with the support he received from the Year 1/2s at last Thursday's mass.  A huge thank you to the 1/2 staff and students for the preparation, participation and enthusiasm.  A highlight was the beautiful singing before and after the service. It was great to see some family members present.

OUR SFX LENTEN COMMUNITY PROJECT

Each year, throughout the season of Lent, we raise funds for a particular cause, and have often supported overseas charities.  Looking at the needs of others teaches our students the importance of kindness, helping, and giving back.

In 2025 we have chosen to support a local charity because it helps those within our own Frankston community.

Last year, at Christmas we donated goods and non-perishable food items to Community Support Frankston.  Steve, Kim and I had the pleasure of meeting some of their volunteer staff and were both thrilled and humbled by their appreciation of all the items our families provided.

As of next week , each class will have a 'money box' and the children are welcome to bring in coins, until the end of the term, if they wish to donate,   We will also be donating all the proceeds from Zooper Dooper sales.

Year 3 - 6 students will be promoting this very worthy cause.  If you would like to find out more about Community Support Frankston please login to their website.
