THANK YOU FROM FR UDAY

Fr Uday would like to thank all those who contributed, supported and attended the Decommissioning Mass for St Sebastian’s Merrigum. A special thanks to the committee members who planned and worked together for the smooth running of this special event. Your support and attendance was very much appreciated.

DECOMMISSIONING BOOKLETS

If any parishioners would like a copy of the booklet from the St Sebastian’s Decommissioning Mass, extra copies are now available in the gathering space.

HARVEST MASS

Gathering to celebrate and give thanks for the harvest

A parish gathering to celebrate and give thanks for the harvest will be held this Sunday, 16th February. In Jesus’ day, the Jewish people celebrated the “Feast of Ingathering” or the “Feast of Tabernacles”. Everyone shared from their harvest, and goods were collected for the poor. St Augustine’s Parish will again celebrate the harvest with the same sense of joy and sharing. We invite all farmers, crops growers, orchardists, winegrowers, home gardeners and cooks, to bring from their produce on that day – for the produce swapping table. Let us also share abundance with those in need; we encourage people to bring a non-perishable item in a can, jar or packet, of something produced in our area. On the day, donors can bring these items to the altar in the entry procession for the St Vincent de Paul Society baskets. We also ask people to bring a plate to share following Mass.

MONTHLY WORKING BEE

Monthly working bees are being held on the 1st Saturday of the month at 9.30am to do some general cleaning in the Church e.g., dusting, cleaning glass doors, cobwebs, sweeping steps, etc. If you are able to help, we would love to see you. The next working bee will be on 1st March 2025.

ANOINTING MASS

Did you know that the Anointing Mass is not only for the sickly and fragile but for anyone who is in need of healing of mind, body and spirit? The next anointing mass will beheld on Thursday 6th March at 10am, followed by a cuppa.

PARKING

Father would like to ask parishioners assistance in leaving the driveway area as parking for those with disabilities or walker.

Please be thoughtful of others.

THANK YOU FROM ST VINCENT DE

PAUL

To the St Augustine’s Community, Kyabram. On behalf of all at St Vincent de Paul Conference, Kyabram, we would like to thank the community for their generous giving last Christmas. Your generosity has enabled us to provide support to our local families in need. We are most grateful. Many thanks, St Vincent de Paul Conference. Thank you for sharing the “Gift of Giving”.
