From the Principal

It is with great joy and gratitude that I welcome you all to the beginning of another exciting school year at St Augustine’s College. A special welcome to our new staff, students and families who have joined our community - we are delighted to have you with us. I am truly excited to step into the role of Principal in 2025 and am committed to ensuring the continued success of our school. I look forward to supporting our students in exceeding their potential and embracing every opportunity for growth and achievement.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Fr Uday for leading us in our Opening Mass last Thursday and for his ongoing spiritual guidance and support of our College community. We are truly blessed to have his presence and leadership as we embark on a new year of learning, faith and growth. In addition, a big thank you to Rach Chapman, the Catholic Identity Team and members of the St Augustine’s Parish for helping deliver a wonderful celebration.
The beginning of the school year is always filled with promise - a fresh start, new opportunities and the chance to challenge ourselves to be the very best versions of who we are called to be.
This year, we continue to build on the proud traditions of St Augustine’s College while striving for excellence in all that we do. Whether in the classroom, on the sporting field, through artistic expression or in service to others, we each have a role to play in making our school a place where everyone belongs and thrives.
I encourage all students to set ambitious goals for themselves this year. Challenge yourself academically, get involved in new activities and support one another as we journey together. Remember, our College motto calls us to Unite, Inspire, Lead and Excel with Strength and Kindliness—so let us embrace this year with enthusiasm, resilience, and a willingness to make a difference.
I wish our students a fantastic year ahead, filled with learning, friendships and success. Let us all work together to make 2025 a year of growth, joy and achievement.
