In this current climate of cold weather and various illnesses, regular attendance can become challenging. However, it is important for all children to attend school as regularly as possible for many reasons. Regular attendance supports development in learning, social skills, maintaining connection and providing children with the opportunity to reach their full potential. Missing days of school, or even coming late on a regular basis can equate to a large amount of time missed and have a negative impact on a child’s academic and social development.
