Aspire Early Entry Program Webinar

At La Trobe, there’s more than one way into uni. The Aspire Early Entry Program is a way to access an adjusted Aspire ATAR for your preferred course and secure an early conditional offer. For some Aspire programs, you can also gain a La Trobe Entrance Score as an alternative to your ATAR. Our Aspire coordinator will go through everything from the benefits of the program, to what makes a successful application.

TERTIARY INFORMATION SESSION - PUBLIC EVENT
About TIS: TIS is a co-operative venture between Federal Government subsidised Victorian universities, institutes of TAFE, and other related agencies. TIS has been active in the provision of tertiary education information for over 25 years and maintains a comprehensive program of TIS days throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria.
The TIS seminar and expo sessions provide an opportunity for Year 12 students to research their tertiary study options; discuss careers and course content with tertiary representatives and collect course information from all the major Victorian universities and local TAFE institutes.
It is a unique opportunity for students to gather first-hand information from the wide range of tertiary providers in attendance.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Work experience is the short-term placement of students with employers to provide insights into the industry and the workplace in which they are located. Students are encouraged to organise their work experience placement early so that they have the greatest chance of securing their place of choice.
It provides students with the valuable opportunity to:
- Develop employability skills.
- Explore possible career options.
- Understand employer expectations.
- Increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence, and self-confidence.
