Welcome back for Term 3!
I have just returned to my office after walking around our classrooms to welcome back our students for Term 3. It was great to see all our students, happy to be back , with their friends and ready to learn. We had 4 new students start at our school today. We welcome the Lawry and Smith families to our school. In every classroom learning was already underway. There was a mix of individual and group work, finding out about the term ahead and the learning that will take place, some physical activity to warm the brains and the bodies. I have included some photos that I took as I walked around.
Our staff utilised the Pupil Free Day on Monday to continue the Curriculum Reform that is happening in all schools in NSW. New curriculum will implemented from 2023 until 2030 in all Key Learning Areas.
Our Term 3 calendar will be finalised this week and we will send the key dates home with next week's newsletter. I am looking forward to a positive term within our community.
NAPLAN results
Students in Year 3, 5, 7 and 9 will be given their NAPLAN results to take home on Wednesday. Please check their bags!
