Community and Family Engagement

Happy Holidays!

What a wonderfully busy and exciting Term Two we have had with so many events and experiences for our students.  From excursions to the Colour Run; Mother's Day to Sports Day; Sacraments to Alleluia Liturgy, there seems to have been something extra on each week this term to engage our students and deepen their learning and understandings in different areas.

Term Three is set to be just as busy and exciting. Wishing everyone a wonderfully relaxing holiday break. Make sure you rest up, rug up and enjoy the time together with family before we do it all again in two weeks time.

Expressions of Interest

Do you have a lot of unused SMCM Uniforms? Do you prefer to purchase second hand items to save money and reduce landfill?

It has been proposed that we run a Market event to buy/swap/sell uniform twice a year at the change of seasons.

People with items for sale would purchase a table space for a small fee that would go towards fundraising for our school. Items would be available for a set price, eg all jumpers $20, but buyers would be able to see and feel the quality of a garment before making a purchase.

If this sounds like something you would like to participate in, either as a buyer or a seller, please complete the survey here.

Parent Volunteers

The draw for the raffle for parent volunteers was made on Monday at Afternoon Gathering. Congratulations to Christine Kenney (Samuel in Technology,  Liana in Artists) on winning the voucher.

Don't forget if you would like to go in the draw to win next Term's voucher, you need to be volunteering your time at any one of our school events. The more times you volunteer, the more chances of winning you have!
