Breakfast Club:
Building Connections at KCHS
Kensington Community High School’s Breakfast Club continues to be a positive and welcoming space for students, now running two mornings each week.
Supported by the school’s Wellbeing Team, canteen staff, and a dedicated group of KCHS student volunteers, the program provides a free breakfast and a chance for students to start their day in a calm, supportive environment. From preparing food to setting up and packing down, student volunteers play an active role in organising the program, building leadership skills and a strong sense of community.
Breakfast Club is more than just a meal - it’s a space for connection. Students can check in with peers and staff, build relationships, and ease into the school day feeling supported and ready to learn.
We are proud of the collaborative effort behind this initiative and grateful to everyone involved in making it such a valued part of our school community.
