Term 3 ISP Excursion

On 20th August,  all our international students together with some local students visited Healesville Sanctuary and Yarra Valley Chocolate Factory.

This excursion is an opportunity for international students to enjoy some local attractions, learn more about Australia and integrate with our local students. Though the weather was not very good, it did not affect our students' interests and curiosity. Please read some exciting feedback from our ILC  students:

Nancy:" I saw a lot of animals, like birds, they were very beautiful. Then I saw kangaroos; they were very strong.

We also saw Koalas, Platypus, Echidnas, Emus and Wombats. Then we went to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery. I saw people working and making the chocolate and bought some chocolates. From this excursion, I learnt the lifestyle of birds. I think the best part was watching the bird show."

Jared: "The first animal we saw was the koala, it slept on the tree. It was so cute. We saw lots of other animals, like platypus, kangaroo, echidna, emu, wombat, lizard. We saw the Bird Performance. Wo! It was so good. I liked the platypus though it was shy, it was so magical. Soon afterwards we went to the chocolate factory. We saw a lot  of chocolates, but we bought fish and chips as our lunch."

Bowen: " I like the Wombats; I thought they were so cute.

I didn't like the Iguana because my family had one when l was a child, and it bit me. I learned about the different birds' names."

Visitors from China

Recently, we have welcomed several families from China, where July and August are 2 months of summer vacation. Parents and potential students were very impressed by our college's natural surrounding and friendly atmosphere. After the school tour , some of the families immediately made their decisions to put our College as their children's first preference.

VCAA Fee

Students with 500 Visa sections  are all fee-paying international students, who are required to pay the VCE administration fee. This fee will cover the cost of VCE enrolment, assessment and examination procedures, printing and delivery of results etc. The payment will be collected by the school and forwarded to VCAA  (Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority). Unless full payment is made to the VCAA, your final results will be withheld. We are so pleased that all the students have finalised their payment in time. We thank you all (parents, students and school Admin Team)  for your cooperation and support.
