Junior School Report

Junior School News

All Year 7 and Year 8 students have had a very busy term consolidating Term 3 work and assessments. All students are currently completing their 2025 subject selections through Edval online and all parents and guardians have received communication through Compass. Thanks to all parents and families for your assistance with these.

Impact Classes

Impact classes have continued to be very enjoyable with many activities and topics discussed throughout the year to date.

During Term 2, key areas were Career Action Plans, Zones of Regulation, Study Skills, Respectful Relationships, Consent and Clubs.

We have started off Term 3 with Goal setting and Subject Selection Assemblies.

School Production – Matilda

The Junior School is proud of all of the Year 7 & 8 students who are currently rehearsing very hard and getting ready for our School Production. They have been working incredibly hard in all aspects of the Production and are looking forward to performing to many primary schools, staff and special guests during their matinee shows and in two night shows to families, staff and friends.

Interschool Sports

Congratulations to all students who have represented the school in Interschool Sports teams so far this year.  All students are reminded to sign up on the new TEAMS online sheet.

Year 7 & 8 Basketball teams will compete later this term along with Table Tennis and Hockey. We wish all teams the very best and congratulate all students who try out for selection.

There will also be 20 students across the school who will take part in the Northern Metro Region Athletics championships later this month at Epping Stadium. We wish them all the very best.

Bruce Kingsbury & 2/14th Memorial Service

All Year 7 students will take part in our annual Bruce Kingsbury Memorial Service in the PAC on Friday 30 August. It is always a great service with many student presentations from Yr 7, Kingsbury Primary School and members of the 2/14th Association.  All Year 7 classes are currently studying Bruce Kingsbury in their Humanities classes.
