Focus on Learning 

Stage One

We have been very busy on Stage One and we are very excited in the progress and growth in our learning.

Writing 

We have been reading and working on two texts titled The True story of the Three little Pigs and The Wolf story. We were able to look at the perspective of both these stories from the wolfs  

perspective.

Maths

In our Maths we have been learning about 2D shapes and forming groups. We created some 2D shape characters and practiced making equal groups and groups with left overs.

In science we have been focusing on Physical Forces and conducted an experiment to explain how objects float and explain how forces can make objects change speed, direction or shape. 

Science and Technology

We have been investigating Physical Forces. We conducted an experiment focusing on how forces create movement. We made boats to explain how  forces can make objects change speed, direction or shape.
