Father's Day
Last Monday we were very excited to welcome our Fathers, Grandfathers and Special Friends to a picnic at Vermont Primary School! The Foundation students loved spending time with their special visitors. In class, we also made cards and gifts which we hoped Fathers, Grandfathers and Special Friends enjoyed. See some of the creations below.
Dress Like A Pirate Day
Foundation students had lots of fun dressing up and celebrating Dress Like a Pirate Day, showing off their creative costumes and pirate spirit.
Wheels Parade
We were so pleased the weather held out and that we were finally able to hold our Wheels Parade. The students loved showing off their different toys and you can see some of the fun they had in the photos below.
Thank you!
We have been very fortunate to receive an enormous number of cardboard boxes for our toy-making. Thank you so much for sending these along to school, we now have more than enough!
Inquiry
This week, our students have been busy designing and inventing their very own toys with moving parts! They explored a variety of attachment techniques to bring their creations to life, experimenting, testing and refining their ideas. It’s been wonderful to see their imaginations thrive and their problem-solving skills shine throughout the process.
Reminders for Term 4
Hats
With Term 4 comes the return of school hats! Please ensure your child’s hat is clearly named and packed in their school bag each morning (or kept there permanently). It’s important that students know exactly where their hat is so they can quickly find it when heading outside for recess and lunchtime play
