Student Jubilee Workshop – Faith Formation Day

On Wednesday, a select group of our student leaders had the exciting opportunity to attend the Student Jubilee Workshop – Faith Formation Day at St Macartan’s Parish Primary School, Mornington.

This special day brought together leadership teams from schools across the region to share in faith, reflection, and leadership development. When we arrived, the students were welcomed and broken into groups before beginning a pilgrimage with the theme of Hope and Creation. As part of this experience, they visited sacred spaces around the school and reflected on the many ways they can connect with their faith in daily life.

Throughout the day, students also participated in a variety of interactive workshops, including creating a “mini pilgrimage” template. This project will allow them to share their learning back at school, leading their peers in meaningful activities and inspiring our wider community.

At the end of the day, our students worked together in their school group to reflect on our own community and began creating a draft pilgrimage tailored for our school. We look forward to sharing this special experience with all our students next term.

A Message

As we come to the end of Term 3, I want to thank our students and families for their support and enthusiasm throughout the term. It has been wonderful to see our school community come together for learning, growth, and fun.

With the spring holidays approaching, I hope this break provides a chance for rest, relaxation, and quality time with family and friends. May it be filled with laughter, fresh air, and simple joys that bring happiness to you and your children.

Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and refreshing holiday. I look forward to seeing our students return ready for an exciting final term of the year!
