Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Last Friday, we hosted our annual P&C Disco Night in the school hall. Our students had a great night, and I would like to express my gratitude to our helpers, from both the school staff and the parent volunteer group, for making it another successful event. Without their contributions, the P&C would not be able to run an event like this.

P&C Morning Tea - Uniform donations

We will have our community morning tea at the school hall next Tuesday, 23rd September, at 8:30am. Everyone from our community is welcome, and we encourage our families to bring in food to share. Coffee and tea will be provided. For this morning tea, we are also seeking our CPS families to bring and donate CPS uniforms from children that have outgrown them or moved onto Year 7. Please note that, due to the school's uniform policy, the P&C can only accept and make use of uniforms that are of current style, clean, and not damaged (normal wear and tear is fine). With the donated items, the P&C will run a second-hand uniform shop as both a fundraising and re-using initiative, which will benefit the community as this will provide another option for families; meanwhile, profits (after deducting applicable costs) will be contributed back to CPS for a variety of improvements and upgrades.

P&C Roles

A couple of our P&C committee members who hold key positions will be leaving the CPS community as their children graduate at the end of 2025. So, it’s really important that other parents and carers from our CPS community consider joining us soon as new committee members. We’d love to welcome you! Without new members, we risk losing some of the great things the P&C provides to our students, like the canteen. Your involvement can make a big difference!

P&C Meeting

P&C will conduct our next monthly meeting this coming Tuesday, 23 September at 7:30pm via zoom. For this session, we are excited to welcome a special guest speaker, Ms Gan, CPS OC class teacher, who will provide an overview of CPS’s OC program followed by a Q&A. In addition to this, we will cover our regular topics, including the Principal's Report and financial updates. I encourage you to register and join us online to stay informed about the latest updates at CPS and to participate in our community discussions.
