A reminder that school finishes for the term this Friday 19th September at 2.20pm
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Big Week
What a way to finish off the term!
On Monday we had students compete at the division Athletics in Bendigo. Congratulations to the students who now progress through to the Regional event on the 13th October.
We also recognised our 3 students of the term. Well done Bonnie, Sid and Ivy.
Yesterday P/1 Pascoe, P/1 Ross, Grade 2 Carroll and 3/4 Acocks/Whitfield enjoyed their attendance reward at Rich River Mini Golf and the Moama Adventure Play park.
Today we enjoyed a hot dog lunch (thanks to Mrs Povey) and Footy (sports) colours dress up day and have our disco tonight.
Tomorrow we finish off the term with time to Slime some staff as part of the Foodbank food fight. Students are dismissed at 2:20pm.
Best Wishes Wendy
Today was Wendy's last day as she will be on long service leave for nearly all of Term 4. We hope you enjoy the extended break and enjoy some well deserved relaxation time Wendy!
Progress Reports
Student progress reports are now live on XUNO. If you require a printed copy please contact the office. Please note parent teacher interviews will be on Wednesday 15th October. (Bookings on XUNO will open on the 6th Oct).
Parent Opinion Survey closes Friday - LAST CHANCE
A reminder was emailed earlier in the week . We will draw the $200 RBN voucher raffle on Friday afternoon.
SunSmart hats - Term 4
A friendly reminder that Rochester Primary School is a Sun Smart School. In term 4, all students need to have their school wide brimmed hat on to play outside at all times. Please dig out your child’s hat and make sure they have it in their bag and that it is labelled with their name ready for the first day back .
Long Service Leave
I will be on long service leave for the first 2 weeks of next term, so I will not be around until the 20th October. If the office or your child's teacher cannot help with any concerns or queries during this time, please make contact with Sarah Mangan who will be working from the office or Leesa Ross (Wellbeing) who will both be more than happy to assist you.
End of Term
It has been a shorter but extremely busy term. Thank to our staff, parents, volunteers and friends for the work you have all been involved in throughout this term, providing an endless list of opportunities for our students. I hope you all enjoy a well-deserved break and good luck to anyone who is playing in football or netball finals or follows a team who is. Go Pies! (And dare I say it ‘Go Kyabram Bombers’ 😊)
