Principal Class News
We are thrilled to share the results of our recent school performance review. Our school has achieved high results, which is a testament to the consistent effort, dedication, and collaboration of our students, staff, and community.
Â
Itâs important to remember that success is built over time, and the dedication and hard work of our staff are central to this progress. To maintain our momentum, our focus moving into 2026 will continue to focus on our implementation of the Department's VTLM 2.0. Â For more about the VTLM 2.0, please see our Teaching & Learning page!

A huge thank you to our PFA committee members and their band of merry helpers for their efforts with the Colour Run and Halloween Disco. Â These two events certainly raised a huge amount of money for the school, and were very well supported by the school community. Â We could not raise this money without your support.Â
Prizes from the Colour Run will be given out to students in the last hour today to bring home!

Many students are coming to school and consuming lollies such as lolly spray and sucking stick lollies.  These are often being purchased from the General Store prior to coming to school. These lollies are not appropriate for consumption at school. Students are reporting to First Aid feeling unwell after consuming these lollies.  As such, we are asking families to not include such as part of their child's lunches. Teachers will ask students  to take them home.  Thank you for your support.
Â
Could all parents please remind their children that they MUST NOT ride their scooters and bikes in the school grounds. This is a very dangerous practice. All students MUST NOT get on their bikes or scooters until they leave the school grounds.
See the First Aid and Safety page for further information.
What a wonderful day we had celebrating our Book Parade and Grandparents Day! Despite the weather and a sound system that was a little touch-and-go at times, the atmosphere was full of excitement and joy. It was fantastic to see so many students dressed as their favourite book characters - there was such creativity, colour and enthusiasm on display.
Â
With our Book Parade also comes an opportunity to celebrate the importance of regular reading and sharing stories at home. Whether itâs completing nightly readers or curling up with a favourite bedtime book, these simple daily routines help build your childâs confidence, spark their imagination and nurture a genuine love of reading and learning.
Â
We are noticing an increasing number of students arriving at school well before the designated supervision time. While we understand that mornings can be busy for families, it is important to remember that staff are not on duty to supervise children before the official start time of 8:45 am. The school gates remain closed until 8:40am. When students arrive too early, they are unsupervised, which can create safety concerns and unnecessary risks.
Â
To ensure the wellbeing of all students, we kindly ask families to plan arrival times so children reach school no earlier than the approved supervision time. This helps us maintain a safe, calm and organised start to the day. Students may be sent to TheirCare for supervision if they arrive to school early.
Â
We thank our school community for supporting a safe environment for all students and for helping us ensure every child begins their day well-supervised and ready for learning. If you require support with morning routines or have questions about before-school supervision, please contact the school office.
Have a wonderful last 5 weeks!
