House Cross Country

Due to the weather, our X-Country last week was postponed for some year levels/age groups. The event will now run on Wednesday 8 May at the following times -

On oval and around the school:

9/10 Girls – 9:10am

12/13 Girls – 9:40am

12/13 Boys – 10:10am

Inside school grounds:

Grade 1 Girls – 9:10am

Grade 1 Boys – 9:25am

Prep Girls – 9:40am

Prep Boys – 9:55am

*Subject to change depending on weather.

Assembly

This week's assembly will be Grade 3-6 in the hall, commencing at 2:45 pm (please be seated by 2:40 PM). P-2 will remain in their classroom and listen to the assembly over the P.A system.

2024 TPS Art Show - Save the Date

Date: Thursday 12th September 2024.

Location: Hall and Library

Viewing Time 3:45pm- 6:30pm

Guest Speaker @ 4pm.

Pre-purchase artist palette or colour wheel cookies, gift cards and raffle tickets. On sale soon on QkR. Proceeds will go to the purchase of Art resources.

Art Show Volunteers Required

Volunteers are required to -

Set up artwork for the show– 1 hour, part or whole day - Tuesday 10th and or Wednesday 11th September.
Wrapping/ packing - raffle prizes - Tuesday 3rd September.

The Smile Squad

The Smile Squad team from Better Health Network (formerly known as Star Health Group) are coming to our school soon. Smile Squad is the Victorian Government free school dental program.

This means all students can get a free dental check-up, preventive services, and treatment at school.

How to access free dental care

We need your consent before we can provide services. Consent is usually provided by a parent or guardian.

Please complete and submit the consent form by Monday 19th August 2024.

Paper copies of the consent form are available. Please contact the school office if you would like to request one. The electronic consent form can be translated into more than 100 languages, and the paper form is available in 13 languages.

Do I need to attend my child’s appointment?

No, you do not need to attend your child’s appointment. You can attend if you would like to, and you can take your child to the community dental clinic if you prefer.
