A message from our Principal

Dear St. Brendan's School Community,

It was a lovely day last Sunday to celebrate an early St. Brendan's Feast day and to have the St. Brendan's Parish Expo, showcasing all the Ministries of the Parish.  Our children sang beautifully and certainly entertained the crowd.

Many thanks to Ange Collins, Leanne Pellegrino and Chris Dainton (guitar) for preparing the children.  Thanks to Joel Brian, John Howley and Liz Dainton for attending.

Many thanks to all parents for bringing the children to this event.  Father Jackson was very impressed.

Cross Country

Good luck to all the children who made it through to the next stage of Cross Country.  We will announce the children who will go further in this event.

Victorian Government

Please read the letter concerning the Budget and money that will be allocated to Children in Department of Education Schools but not Catholic or Independent.

We urge you to read the letter and write to the local members about this decision.

As a school, we will be sending letters voicing our deep concerns for parents in our system missing out on this money.

I will keep you updated.

A reminder to Year 6 families

Notre Dame College Year 7 2025 applications close next Friday, 17th May.

Mother's Day

We wish all Mothers, Grandmothers and Carers a lovely Mother's Day on Sunday.

For Mother's that have booked, morning tea will be in the School Hall at 9.30am tomorrow morning, Friday 10th May.

As rain is predicted, Assembly will be in 1/2 Andronaco and 1/2 Drummond's room for the parents of these classes only.  If the weather is fine, we will have Assembly outside.

Many thanks to Beth Seccull and Michelle Black that organised students to make decorations for the Hall.  Thanks to Kim Wong for getting supplies, Eliza Bicknell, Millie Willmott and Jhett Cooper for setting up the Hall.

The School have provided the morning tea to thank all our Mum's.

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a time to show appreciation to

the wonderful women in our lives with love and gratitude.

It is a day to think about their constant support,

sacrifices and the significant impact they've had

 on shaping who we are.

~ Enjoy your day ~

Kind regards,
