Green Team News

The Easter holiday break was a busy time for the bunnies that reside at St. Brendan’s, as they munched their way through the freshly planted seedlings in Brendan’s Garden.

Fortunately, they did not eat all the vegetables that were ready for harvesting and some enthusiastic Foundation students assisted with the harvest. Ella, Bodhi, Alex and Max happily picked zucchini, pumpkin, lettuce, radish and capsicum. Sadly, the cherry tomatoes, which looked perfect for picking, had split and were not worthy of consumption.

This Friday, all the Green Team will be involved in some hands-on work in Brendan’s Garden to get our winter crop growing and also potting up our Rosemary cuttings we took last term. Here are some photos of the seedlings the bunnies nibbled and the vegetables harvested.

To our wonderful mothers that took time out from their busy lives to wrap the Easter Raffle prizes. THANK YOU!

The Trophy for Term 1 'Art Class Masters' goes to 3/4M.

Congratulations on your beautiful behaviour and manners. Keep up the great work.
