Da Vinci Decathlon

A big congratulations to our Year 7 Da Vinci Decathlon winners and to our Year 5 team who came third!!

On Wednesday and Thursday, selected students across Years 5-8 travelled to TRAC to compete in the regional round of the Stage 3 and Stage 4 Da Vinci Decathlons. The teams competed in a range of subjects including, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Art and Poetry, English and many more.

All students competed exceptionally well.

Year 5 achieved first in English, Cartography, second in Legacy and third in Code Breaking, Art and Poetry.

Year 6 earned first in Art and Poetry, second in Engineering, and third in Ideation.

The Year 7 received first in Ideation, Mathematics, English and Legacy and third place in Code Breaking, Science and Engineering.

Year 8 received second place in Art and Poetry and third place in Cartography.

Well done to all of the teams, we are so proud of the hard work you all put in!

The Year 7 team has now qualified for the State Competition next week!
