Auskick Program

The AFL North West region is hosting an after-school Auskick program at Armidale City School, 142 - 152 Faulkner Street.

They will be running this program from 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm on the following dates: 

• 22nd of May 

• 29th of May

• 5th of June

• 12th of June

Auskick is an introductory program designed to teach basic skills in Australian football. The program is available for K-6 and aims to develop children's gross and fine motor skills while having fun and learning AFL. Students are encouraged to wear their sports uniform or comfortable sports clothes. 

The program will cost $50 to participate for the 4 weeks. On the completion of this program, each student will receive a Sydney Swans AFL pack including:

• an Auskick football                               

• an Auskick pump

• a fidget toy

• footy card pack

• Swans backpack

• Swans pencil case

Orienteering

There is orienteering this Sunday 19th May 24 km on the Bundarra Rd. at Kooringle.

Look out for signs just west of Boorolong Ck Bridge.

There is 1km drive into the property on a farm track , okay for normal cars with care.

Parking is 100m from the start of the courses.

There are 4 courses - East 2.2k, Medium 3.2k Short Hard 4k and Long hard 6k.

If these sound short er than normal lengths they will all take longer times than normal due to the luxuriant vegetation and rugged terrain.

Starts are between 10am and 12 midday.
