Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely Easter and enjoyed the School Holidays. There are lots of fun and exciting things happening this Term! 

Aged Care

Grade 2 students had their first visit to the Aged Care for the Term. It was great to see so many smiling faces when they were reunited from the holiday break. Students celebrated ANZAC Day by creating poppy wristbands with the residents. 

Reading

We are focusing on Non Fiction and Fiction texts in Reading. Students differentiated between Non Fiction and Fiction texts. Students used EPIC to find a Non Fiction book and used their summarising skills to write down facts to share with the class. 

Writing 

Following along with our Non Fiction focus in Reading, students have began looking at informative writing pieces. Students created an information report on an animal.
