Fundraising for PTFA through VIC CDS

King’s College PTFA is now registered to receive donations through the Victorian Container Deposit Scheme. Each of your drink containers can earn a 10 cent refund to go towards our PTFA. See below for steps on how to donate your refund.

Donating on the CDS VIC West App:

1. Download the App: Ensure you have the CDS VIC West app installed.

    

2. Select "Charity Donation": Choose "Charity Donation" as your payout method within the app.

    

3. Choose Your Charity: Search PTFA and you will see the King’s College logo to select.

    

4. Scan Your Barcode: Scan your unique app barcode at the reverse vending machine before starting your session.

    

5. Insert Containers: Insert your eligible drink containers into the machine.

    

6. Select "Payout": After inserting your containers, select "Payout" on the machine screen.

    

7. 100% Donation: The PTFA will receive 100% of your donated refund within a week.

Donating at a Reverse Vending Machine:

1. Return Containers: Take your eligible containers to a reverse vending machine.

    

2. Select "Donate": At the end of your container insertion session, select the "Donate" option on the machine screen. Type in PTFA and select King’s College Logo.

    

3. Confirm Donation: Press the "Confirm" button to donate your refund.

    

4. 100% Donation: The PTFA will receive 100% of your donated refund within a week.
