Junior School District Athletics

On Thursday 3rd April, 39 of our students proudly represented our school at the District Athletics competition. It was a fantastic day filled with determination, sportsmanship, and team spirit.

Our students gave their all across a range of events, showcasing their skills and resilience. It was wonderful to see teammates cheering each other on and celebrating each other's efforts, whether it was on the track, in the field, or from the sidelines.

A special congratulations to Alina, Evelyn, Jemimah, and Tom, who have qualified for Division Athletics on Friday 2nd May! We wish them the best of luck as they prepare for the next stage of competition.

A huge thank you to Mr Zeunert, Ms O'Brien, and Mrs Gittins for their time and effort in assisting on the day.

Well done to all participants. You should be proud of your achievements!

GWR Swimming

On March 26th, King's College sent 8 students to the Greater Western Region Swimming competition in Horsham and achieved some amazing results.

Joshua F - 1st place in 50m Breaststroke, 100m Butterfly and 200IM. Josh has qualified for state championships. An outstanding achievement.

Blake W - 2nd place in 50m Breaststroke, missing out on first place by a split second.

Lucas F -3rd place in 50m Breaststroke and 1st in 50m Backstroke. Lucas has also qualified for state championships. An amazing performance.

Congratulations to the other Junior School students, who competed on the day, Alexander, Alina, Alyra, Olivia and Molly. A special congratulations to Alina and Mollie with outstanding PB's.

GWR Volleyball

On April 1st, King's College competed at the Greater Western Region Volleyball Finals in Horsham. 

We sent a Year 9 girls team and a Year 10 boys team, consisting of the following students:

Year 9 Girls - Zara B, Mia B, Miriam W, Sienna B, Myeisha M (Year 8) & Anneliese S

Year 10 Boys -Josh F, Tobi J, Max K, Dalton L, Sam W, David M, Riley C & Hamish V

Both teams were competitive on the day, with the boys very narrowly missing out on qualifying for State Finals!

A big thank you to Tom Leach for training and coaching both teams.
