Student Achievement

Congratulations to Year 10 student Ben Woods who has been selected for the 2025 U17 Men's Victorian Track Cycling team. 

He will be racing at the upcoming National Track Championships in Brisbane which has been a big goal for Ben this track season, and this will be the first time he has had the opportunity to represent Victoria.

Ben has had an amazing track season so far, and has worked very hard to get where he is today. He has well and truly earnt his position on the team this year. He has been on the podium for most of the State Championship events and earned the following places:

• Madison Championship - Gold

• Scratch Championship - Gold

• 500m Time trial Championship in NSW and VIC - Gold x2

• Sprint Championship in NSW and VIC (Fastest Victorian at VIC Champs!) - Gold and Bronze

• Elimination Championship - Silver

  (Keirin Championship)

   

He also achieved automatic selection times for Time trial and Sprint. He is a proud member of Blackburn Cycling Club and is very thankful to his coaches for helping him reach his goals.
