Theatre Performance - Year 12 IB Theatre Collaborative Project
Wednesday 2 April
Year 12 IB Theatre class warmly invites you to their Collaborative Project titled ‘Paper Weight’. This project is an original devised piece of theatre the students have worked on for the past month. Part of their theatrical intention reads: “Through our representation of different types of loss and response, we would like the audience to consider the relativity of grief and the potential for loss to transcend the limitations of one meaning and time; invoking the importance of memory in preserving loss”. Caity, Bea, Juliet, Jacqui and Charlie look forward to hearing from their audience how successfully they achieved their intentions.
When: Wednesday April 2, 7pm-7.45pm, no cost
Where: Bill & Marjorie Oats Theatre, Commercial Road Campus, enter via glass door off Carr Street.
Please contact Tammy Giblin for any enquiries

Donations for the Senior School CAS Project!
As a part of their IB Diploma Program, Year 12 students Scarlett Johnson-Harrington, Lucy Chen and Jemima Lennon are required to engage with the community and local community partners. As a group they decided they wanted to give back to those who work so hard to care for us such as Nurses: essential healthcare workers that provide direct services to those most in need. The students are creating appreciation hampers for nurses at the Calvary hospital. The students aim to present the hampers to Calvary Hospital in the final week of Term 1.
Having sought donations from local businesses, Scarlett, Lucy and Jemima would welcome further donations from the School community. All items must be appropriate and unused. These items may include:
- Gift cards (further details below)
- Small potted plants
- Self care items
- Accessories
- Homewares
Donations will close on Friday 4 April, and can be delivered to any school office. Please note that if your donation is a gift card, please place it into a sealed envelope addressed to Scarlett Johnson Harrington (Year 12) or Karina Churchill
Any queries, please contact either;
Karina Churchill or Scarlett Johnson Harrington
