NRMA Road Safety and Science Day

Road safety is the hot topic at school this week as we host the NRMA Science and Road Safety Day here tomorrow on Friday 27th February.  The NRMA Science & Road Safety Day is an educational program for primary school students designed to teach important road safety concepts in a fun and engaging way. Rather than simply telling students what to do, the program uses science demonstrations and interactive activities to explain why road safety practices matter and how they work in real life. The program is delivered free of charge to schools in partnership with the NRMA and aims to build lifelong safe habits by helping students understand how safety equipment and safe behaviours protect them. Let’s make our school community safer by demonstrating good road safe behaviour to our children. 

Cumberland Zone Swimming Carnival

Team Sport Trials

Congratulations to Skye Serdan who represented St Margaret Mary’s in the next round of the Diocesan Tennis selections on February 20th at Macarthur. 

Aidan Bowman will trial for hockey, unfortunately his trials were postponed on Monday 23rd February at Western Sydney University (WSU) Hockey Centre, Kingswood.

We commend you both for representing your school and your sport with pride and integrity.

Expression of interest is open for boys netball trials, girls AFL trials and diving. If your child has experience with these sports, please contact Mrs Foley and I can pass on the relevant information for MacKillop trials.
