Pope Francis had an incredible impact on the catholic community leading us into a better future. Pope Francis had a dress that he had to wear inside and outside of the church/cathedral. He had a passionate belief in God and he prayed at least three times a day. He also said some incredible things as well but his famous quote was " Anything done for another is done for ourselves" another one of his quotes were " Freedom consists not in doing what we like but what we ought".
Even though he was Pope for twelve years he had to do some other things to become a Pope because you can't just automatically become a Pope. He was a priest for 45 years becoming one in 1969. He became a pope in 2013 and died in 2025. His childhood was not as classy as his lamborghini but it was alright. Pope Francis grew up in a working-class neighborhood. He would study in Public Schools and High Schools to become a chemist. He finally achieved a certificate to become a chemist. The Pope was born on the 17th of December 1936 and was born in Flores, Buenos Aires, Argentina. As Pope he changed some things in the understandings of the church teachings such as death penalty and nuclear weapons. People believe that he thought that his church was not going to be based on fancy vestments but on love of God and each other. Overall Pope Francis was a wonderful Pope as well as a person and we hope that our next Pope will be as great as him.
