Leadership Message

Dear Sunny Families

It's wonderful to see all our families back from the spring break and ready for the final stretch of learning before we enter the busy end of year period. 

Each year around this time we begin to look forward to the next school year and we consider all the new combinations and collaborations that can be created in our teaching and learning teams. We are very privelged at Sunny Heights to have a wonderfully diverse mix of experience levels, backgrounds and skill sets on our staff. This leaves us with the happy challenge of using the multitude of abilities we have to create a learning community that maximises our collective strengths.

An example of the talent and experience we have at our fingertips was recognised by the Department of Education this week when our very own Ms Thomai was celebreted for 35+ years of work as an educator in our state system. We are so proud of Ms Thomai and feel so lucky to have her warmth and professional expertise as part of our team.

We can't wait to plan the work that will continue our learning journey with Ms Thomai and all our wonderful Teaching and Education Support staff.
