Principal's Award - Evie M

Evie you demonstrated the Mercy Values of compassion and hospitality. This week yourself and other year 6 students were asked to help out with a younger student who was finding it tough to be at school. You willingly helped out giving up the entire first break play time. Your willingness to give up your break time was very much appreciated. Your gently approach ensured that the student felt safe and supported.

Principal's Award - Oliver D

Oliver you demonstrated the Mercy Values of compassion and hospitality. This week yourself and other year 6 students were asked to help out with a younger student who was finding it tough to be at school. You willingly helped out giving up the entire first break play time. Being a leader can involve giving up some of your own time and it was very much appreciated that you sacrificed your break time to help another student.

Principal's Award - Urijah G

Uri you demonstrated the Mercy Values of compassion and hospitality. This week yourself and other year 6 students were asked to help out with a younger student who was finding it tough to be at school. You willingly helped out giving up the entire first break play time. At the end of this time you showed great leadership by working with the young student to convince him to come with you, where you took him to his classroom to ensure that he felt safe and supported.
