Dodge Ball
The children in class 3P voted on their preferred colour for their new class set of dodge balls. Antoine recorded the results in a column graph but forgot to draw in the column for yellow.
There are 29 children in the class and everyone voted once. How many children voted for yellow?

A Box of Socks
A box holds socks which are all the same size. There are 6 white, 10 blue and 16 grey socks.
What is the least number of socks I need to take out, without looking, so that I can be certain of getting a pair of matching socks?

Disc Piles
I have five coloured discs in a pile as shown.
I take the top two discs and put them on the bottom (with the red disc still on top of the blue disc). Then I again take the top two discs and put them on the bottom.
If I do this until I have made a total of 21 moves, which disc will be on the bottom?
